Dental Implants
Rebuild your smile
We are committed to giving you the best value possible when it comes to our range of dental and cosmetic treatments, including membership plans.
The process
Assessment
We’ll have scans of your teeth taken to assess the health and condition of your jawbone and ensure that your jaw is dense enough to support implants. If there are any parts of broken teeth left behind, we will also have to extract them to make space for the implants.
Once we have made sure that you are suitable for dental implants, we’ll provide you with a full treatment plan and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
Surgery
The procedure will take place under local anaesthetic, which means that you won’t feel any pain.
Recovery and follow-up treatment
Once the implant has been inserted, we’ll need to wait between two and six months to allow the jawbone to fuse around the implant. During this time, we can provide you with a temporary bridge, dentures or even a temporary tooth to disguise the gap.
Once the implant has fully healed, the connector (abutment) will be attached to the top of the implant. Images or casts will then be taken in order to create your new crown or bridge.
Final appointment
During your final appointment, we’ll remove any temporary teeth and insert your new permanent bridge or crown.
